What is wrong with my parents

I so just applied to college this year and then I was applying my parents told me not to worry about money that we could think about it later. Are you freaking kidding me? Yea right. They don't even half half the amount of tuition for the UCs and they give me this crap about not worrying about money? Now, that I got in to my DREAM SCHOOL they say sorry honey we can't afford it. Why in the world would you encourage me to apply to schools you can't afford! I wasted more than $300 applying to schools that I can't even go to! Yea I'm pissed.
