The Bible Was Written by Men not God

I have been having a hard time making peace with the Bible. How can I take a book written by men to be the absolute truth on the whole universe? Then it just hit me the other day! If God, the omnipotent presence of the universe, wants me to learn something, He could say it to me through a Dr. Seuss book or in a pamphlet in the bathroom! It doesn't matter where the Bible comes from. For all I know, it is a combination of random texts people have read and collectively believe represents the will of God. If God wants to teach me something through something I read, I can read anything and it might just as well be the Bible.
